Hello and thank you for waiting and I know it’s been a while since my last blog post. The thing is, I lost my mojo for a while but this weekend, things have thankfully stirred and now, at long last I’m back on the blogging and writing saddle. New posts and interviews shall ensue and most of all, I’m looking forward to hearing from you.

In the past few weeks, a number of good things have happened and I shall go into them in more detail in posts in the near future but here’s the gyst!

The wonderful artist Roberta Martucci has just got in touch to tell me that the finalised cover art for my forthcoming e-novel Black Champagne, is imminent.  She lives in Naples, Italy and I met her through her lovely sister, Fiorina whom I met in London in May of this year while visiting the Museum of Brands in Notting Hill.

During my recent trip to the US, my friend and fellow writer Jim Janus, very kindly, invited me to join the Kenosha Writers’ Guild in the town of Kenosha, Wisconsin. It’s  larger group than I am used to but it worked very well in that everyone was given time to read their work, be it poetry, short story or extract from work-in-progress novels. The feedback was constructive, open and honest. Their welcome to me was that infusive that I quickly felt part of the gang and felt comfortable giving feedback and eventually towards the end, read one of my short stories.

My special thanks to Jim Janus and Lisa Adamowicz Kless and to the others and I look forward to meeting them again. There were a wide range of styles, personalities and drives behind the writing and it made for a very interesting eclectic literary experience.
